One Hundred Years of Solitude

Today I am starting One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.  This book was suggested by a friend a long time ago.  The library had lost their copy and the Book Shoppe didn't have one.  I added my name to the list at the Book Shoppe to be called if any used copies came in.  Right before Thanksgiving I got the call that a copy came in, so now I am finally getting to read it.

The book description on Goodreads says it is the story of the rise and fall of the mythical town of Macondo told through the history of a family.  It says the story features love, lust, war, politics, and more.  I hope I enjoy this novel.
