Book #24: Plain Truth

The YMCA book club pick for April is Plain Truth by Jodi Picoult. It's about an Amish teenager who gives birth to a baby and later the baby is found death on a farm. The story will go through how they find out who the mother was, how the baby was killed, and a lawyer trying to protect the teenage mother. There's always some big moral dilemma in Picoult's books, so it sound like that will have something to do with the girl not wanting to be represented by a lawyer. I usually like to read her books because they read fast and keep me interested, but they always make me really frustrated. A few people mentioned that they have read this book before and that it was really good. I'm interested in learning more about the Amish through this book.
