Finished #33

I finished A Child Called It this morning.  This story was sickening and sad.  I can't believe this really happened.  Most of all, I can't believe that a mother would torture 1 child, but treat the others normally. It makes you wonder if the story is completely true, or possibly a little embellished from a child's point of few.  There is criticism for the book saying that one brother disputes the events, but another brother says that some of it happened.  I just can't believe that the brothers and dad would let the mom treat the boy like this without doing anything to help.  Hmm.  I'm going to read the next book in the series which is about David's years in foster care.
