Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil

I started Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt yesterday. I never really knew what this book was about. It's set in Savannah, GA and goes through the lives of several unique people living in the town. This book is a true-crime book, but I haven't gotten to the murder yet. So far the back stories of the characters and history of the town is very interesting. I would love to see the town of Savannah some time just based off of the descriptions given in the book.
