Book 13: Blue Like Jazz

I am starting 'Blue Like Jazz' by Donald Miller tonight. A lot of my friends have read this book and said that they really liked it. "Spiritual books" have really been keeping me interested lately, but there is a wait list for this book at the library, so I feel like I need to read it now since I can't renew it. I'm hoping I enjoy it.

    I just finished 'Blue Like Jazz'. I was able to relate to this book so much. It was so refreshing to know that there are other people out there who have the same beliefs on Christianity. I loved Chapter 12: Church: How I Go Without Getting Angry. We recently tried a church here that was so judgemental and I wish the pastors would read that chapter. I made Levi read it and he even liked it. I also loved the Chapters on Love: How to Really Love Other People and How to Really Love Yourself. I feel so refreshed after reading this and do believe that someday I will be able to find a church that I like going to and is full of people who truly know how to love.
