Book #9: Handle With Care
I am starting book 9 tonight: 'Handle With Care' by Jodi Picoult. I read 'My Sister's Keeper' and liked that the story kept me interested, even though I didn't like the ending of the story. I read a chapter of this at the end of the other book and thought the story sounded interesting, but terribly sad. I am going to give her writing another chance, because a lot of people tell me they love her stories.

I finished 'Handle with Care' last night. The thing about the 2 books I have read by Picoult is that they are incredibly sad and frustrating, but also really addictive. The characters were very similiar to those in 'My Sister's Keeper' and once again the ending was "the worst thing imaginable". I think she does a great job of keeping me interested, so even though I have a headache and feel terrible the whole time I read her books, I might read more of them in the future.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad she keeps you interested, but this is the exact reason, after My Sister's Keeper that I will never read another one of her books. Unless, someone picks one for book club.
