Book #3: The Help

I am starting my 3rd book today. It is 'The Help' by Kathryn Stockett. This was a book club selection for the month of September, but I had been on the library waiting list for over 2 months. So far I've been really happy every time I have been number 800 on a waiting list, so I hope the same is true for this book.

    I am a sucker for slave/civil rights stories. This one was so good that I told Levi it was one of the best books I ever read. I didn't want the story to end. I wish I could keep reading it until Hilly would finally change her mind or get what she deserves.

    Oh, I'm so glad that you liked it as much as the book club did. Wasn't it great? I can't wait for the author to write more. Can you believe this was her first novel? Fantastic!!
